Privacy Policy

Bradford Hood Cleaning Pros collects a small amount of business contact information, uses it to quote and schedule work, and does not sell it. This policy is written under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, known as PIPEDA, and it is written to be read rather than to be long. Last updated August 2026.

What is collected, and why

The quote form asks for a name, a phone number, an email address, a business name and a description of what you need. Nothing else is requested.

Each field has a purpose. The name and business name identify which kitchen is being quoted, since several sites can share an operator. The phone number is how a quote conversation actually happens, because pricing a duct run over email is slow. The email address is where the written quote and, later, the certificate and photo report are sent. The message describes the work so the right questions get asked on the call back.

The form does not collect payment details, and no page on this site should ever ask for a credit card number, a bank account or a password. If one appears to, do not fill it in. Call 365-809-0864 so it can be looked at.

Phone calls and emails are treated the same way. Notes from a call to 365-809-0864, or a message to info@bradfordhoodcleaningpros.ca, may be written into the same customer record so the follow-up makes sense to whoever handles it next. Do not send payment card details by email or text message. If a payment method needs discussing, it gets discussed directly.

Where a site visit happens, photographs are taken of the exhaust system. Those show equipment and building surfaces, not people. They are part of the service record and they are what the certificate refers to.

Where the information goes and who can see it

Form submissions travel through this website's hosting to a customer relationship management system, and they are not sold or shared for marketing.

When you submit the quote form, the details are passed by this site's hosting provider to the customer record system used to manage quotes and scheduling. Both are operated by third-party service providers, which is normal for a business of this size and means those providers process the data on instruction rather than for their own purposes.

The information is not sold, rented or traded. It is not shared with other businesses for their marketing. It is seen by the people who quote, schedule and carry out the work, and by nobody else, except where the law requires disclosure or where sharing is genuinely necessary to deliver the service you asked for.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read. That records general usage patterns rather than identifying individual visitors by name, and it is not connected to the quote form record. If you would rather not be measured at all, browser settings and extensions that block analytics work normally on this site and do not affect the quote form.

How long records are kept

Quote requests that do not become work are kept for a limited period, and records attached to completed work are kept longer because they are service and tax records.

A quote request that goes nowhere is of little use after a while and is not retained indefinitely. A record attached to a job that was carried out is different: the certificate, the photo report and the invoice are evidence that specific work was performed on a specific date, and they may be needed years later by an insurer, a fire inspector or the operator themselves. Business records also carry retention obligations under Canadian tax rules.

So the honest summary is that a service record outlives a marketing record on purpose, and that the reason is the same reason the certificate exists at all. If you want a specific record dealt with sooner, ask, and you will be told what can be deleted and what has to be kept.

Privacy: frequently asked questions

Your rights under PIPEDA, in practical terms.

How do I see what information you hold about me?

Call 365-809-0864 or email info@bradfordhoodcleaningpros.ca and say which phone number or email address to search for, so the correct record is found rather than a similar one. Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information is held, ask for a copy, ask why it was collected, ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, and ask for it to be deleted. Requests are answered within a reasonable time.

How do I get my record deleted?

Ask by phone or email, naming the phone number or email address to search for. Deletion is carried out where no legal or accounting reason requires the record to be kept. Where something must be retained, such as an invoice or a service certificate, you will be told exactly what is being kept and why rather than receiving a vague refusal.

Will I be added to a marketing list?

Requesting a quote is not consent to a newsletter. Where any commercial email is sent it will identify the sender and carry a working unsubscribe, as Canada's anti-spam legislation requires. Follow-up about a quote you actually asked for is a different thing, and if you would rather not be followed up, saying so once is enough.

Do you use cookies?

This site uses analytics cookies to count page views and understand which pages are read. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking cookies in your browser does not break the quote form or any other part of the site.

Who do I complain to if I am not satisfied?

Raise it directly first, by phone or email, because most concerns are a misunderstanding that can be resolved quickly. If that does not resolve it, PIPEDA gives you the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, which is the independent body overseeing this legislation. You do not need permission to do that, and doing so will not affect your service.

Questions about your record?

Access requests, corrections and deletion requests are handled by the same people who answer the phone. Call 365-809-0864 or email info@bradfordhoodcleaningpros.ca.
